We need food and water for over 1500 refugees that have flooded Petite Riviere De Nippes (3 Section, Dupuy2) at our Solar Bakery location. Pastor Romane Nore is our project manager.
The Mercy Outreach Ministry International Inc. has a Solar Bakery and I have been attempting to supply rice, beans,corn, but we are a very small organization and not equipped to feed this many people twice daily! They are in need of basic medical and first-aid supplies, too
The bakery is a microenterprise and was self-sustaining until the earthquake. We are prepared to cook large volumes of food on the two Villager Solar Ovens but we need the food. And, the people need tents or tarps. They have no shelter. They need medical attention.
