Most of the blogs online are pretty much the same but i think you can add some value. Bravo !
Hello! Good to hear from you again. It’s been a long time. Yes, I’m still working in Haiti. Unfortunately, I am not able to accept materials items because of the expense of shipping them, etc. I still have tents and a solar water filter stuck in customs since April.
I can only accept cash which allows us to purchase things in Haiti, thus eliminating the custom charges. We just received some equipment in Haiti that was sent by via International Priority on June 22 2010!
There are some larger groups who are able to send items via containers. You might want to research online to see if you can identify one. I appreciate you remembering Haiti. i SPOKE WITH sIS. fAYE NOT TOO LONG AGO. SHE GAVE ME A WONDERFUL CONTACT FOR HAITI – someone who can help with USAID proposals, etc.
Got to go, but please keep up with me. I have a lot of material that needs to go up on the web. My husband suffered a near fatal stroke in July, and I have been his caretaker since July 10. He’s progressing well, however. I am stressed to the max….but also blessed to the max. (smile). Take Care
