This causes deforestation and soil erosion which is devastating to the environment and the agriculture of a nation. It is good for the children in the schools to learn how food is cooked with the sun. They will grow up seeing and tasting the good food that is cooked for them with solar, and they will develop an appreciation for the technology. Their parents will realize a major savings in that they will not have to spend a major portion of their earnings on charcoal and other fuel. Solar is a technology that must be advocated and supported. Communities need training and support to acquire the technology so that they will be able to become self sufficient in the future.
